These Terms and Conditions govern the installation of electric vehicle (EV) charging stations (“Services”) provided by Hi EV (“we,” “us,” “our”) to customers (“you,” “your”) in the United Kingdom.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By engaging our Services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not proceed with our Services.
2. Services
We provide installation of EV charging stations at your home. Our Services include site assessment, installation, and post-installation support.
3. Booking and Payment
- Quotation: We will provide a written quotation based on the site assessment.
- Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total cost is required upon acceptance of the quotation.
- Payment Terms: The remaining balance is due upon completion of the installation.
4. Site Assessment
Prior to installation, we will conduct a site assessment to determine the suitability of your location for an EV charging station. You agree to provide access to the installation site and necessary utilities.
5. Installation
- Timeline: We will provide an estimated installation date, but this may be subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances.
- Permits and Compliance: We will obtain any necessary permits and ensure compliance with local regulations and safety standards.
6. Customer Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Ensuring that the installation site is accessible.
- Providing accurate information regarding your electrical system.
- Arranging for any necessary preparations before installation.
7. Warranty
We provide a warranty on our installation services for a period of 3 years. This warranty covers defects in workmanship but does not cover damages resulting from misuse or external factors.
8. Liability
- Our liability for any direct loss or damage arising from our Services is limited to the amount paid by you for those Services.
- We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, including but not limited to loss of profit or opportunity.
9. Cancellation Policy
- You may cancel your installation appointment up to 5 working days before the scheduled date for a full refund of any payments made, minus the deposit.
- Cancellations made within 7 days of the scheduled date may incur a cancellation fee.
10. Data Protection
We will handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which complies with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
11. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
